MALAYSIA logged 1,749 new Covid-19 infections yesterday, taking the total to 4,950,566 cases since the pandemic began in March 2020.

Six deaths were reported, including a case of dead on arrival. Total deaths at 36,554.

Eighty-nine people were in intensive care, 54 of whom required respiratory assistance

Selangor continued to post the highest number of daily cases at 538.

New cases were also reported in Kuala Lumpur (224), Sabah (133), Kedah (121), Putrajaya (115), Malacca (86), Negri Sembilan (78) Perak (70), Penang (70), Johor (68), Pahang (67), Sarawak (56), Terengganu (56), Kelantan (53), Labuan (9) and Perlis (5). – November 15, 2022.
