BARISAN Nasional (BN) wanita chief Noraini Ahmad said the education agenda in the BN manifesto “Perancangan Amal dan Usaha BN (Padu)” is the best to ensure no child is left behind.

Noraini, the Parit Sulong MP, said – given that education is an important investment in the process of building future generations – a free education system is on BN’s main agenda.

“Padu was also initiated to ease the burden of families and ensure every child is given basic education.

“In Padu’s Fokus 5, early education and early childcare will be offered for free and given to all children who are six years and below as well given nutritional food,” she said in a statement yesterday.

The higher education minister also sees Padu being offered to all children.

“It can also ease the burden of parents who have just started a new family. The initiative will offer young parents a big savings in childcare expenditure and such savings can be used by the parents to improve their wellbeing and quality of living.

“Through Padu’s Fokus 5 initiative, all children will get free education until Form Five and that will certainly raise their standard of living in the long term,” she said. – Bernama, November 15, 2022.
