Pahang Perikatan manifesto focuses on economic stability

PAHANG Perikatan Nasional (PN) has outlined 12 issues in its manifesto for the general election, mainly focusing on the need for economic stability.

‘Pahang Berkat Makmur Sejahtera’ was launched by PN deputy chairman Abdul Hadi Awang at Jerantut Council square last night.

He said the focus of the manifesto is to ensure a clean, transparent administration based on integrity and competence, along the lines of religious tolerance.

Aside from stimulating the economy, the manifesto promises to boost the growth of small and medium size enterprises, including Felda settlements.

The manifesto also promises house ownership initiatives will be given priority while a close relationship would be established with civil society groups, initiatives for businesses, encouraging young entrepreneurs, empowering women and senior citizens, assistance for marriages and education assistance for children.

PN will field 14 candidates for parliamentary seats and 42 candidates have been lined up to contest the state seats.
