TONY Fernandes has resigned as AirAsia X Bhd’s (AAX) group chief executive officer (CEO) effective today.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the airline cited that the resignation was due to Fernandes’s other commitments.
The filing did not give any other reason for the resignation at the time of writing.
AAX had redesignated Fernandes as group CEO in July 2022. – Bernama, October 31, 2022.
