DAP announces 7 candidates for Sabah

DAP will be fielding seven parliamentary candidates in Sabah for the general election, the party revealed today.

Sabah DAP chairman Frankie Poon said three MPs will be defending their seats: Sabah DAP vice-chairman Noorita Sual in Tenom, publicity secretary Vivian Wong (Sandakan) and committee member Chan Foong Hin (Kota Kinabalu).

The four new faces to be featured are Sabah DAP treasurer Henry Shim (Papar), organising secretary Liau Fui Fui (Batu Sapi), political education bureau director Grelydia Gillod (Keningau) and party member Oscar Sia (Lahad Datu).

“We believe they can bring about huge changes within the party.

“We are confident they will win their seats,” Poon said in Kota Kinabalu today. – Bernama, October 31, 2022.
