PERIKATAN Nasional (PN) need to work as a big family to face the general election, which will be more challenging than the last national ballot, Bersatu information chief Wan Saiful Wan Jan said.

Wan Saiful the coalition singled out DAP, which who won Bangi with a large majority in 2018.

He said PN should defend its candidate to ensure that the seat switches hands to PN.

“Our challenges are not small, that’s why the (campaign) effort cannot be small because the events of the last election (DAP winning by a huge majority) cannot be repeated.

“We need to work as a team under PN’s big family, instil benevolent prejudice and forge closeness as a prerequisite in winning this seat,” he said when launching the PN Bangi election campaign, last night.

Meanwhile, PN Youth information chief Khairul Nadzir Helmi Azhar, who was at the ceremony, said he expected PN to face difficulties in wooing voters, especially the younger generation, during the general election as they have been hit with an information deluge that might sway them. – Bernama, October 26, 2022.
