COMMUNITIES along the west coast of Mexico prepared for Hurricane Roslyn, a Category 3 storm, to make landfall today as the US National Hurricane Center warned of potentially damaging winds, a dangerous storm surge and flash flooding.
The major storm was about 130 kilometers southwest of the city of Tepic, with maximum sustained winds of 200km/h an hour and moving north at about 25 km/h an hour, the NHC said in its 0900 GMT update.
