DAP will announce its list of candidates for the general election in stages, starting next week, secretary-general Anthony Loke said.

“We have yet to finalise the candidates. The states have sent their recommendation for us to discuss and finalise,” he said in Seremban today.

Loke, the MP for Seremban, is optimistic that he can defend his seat, having served the community for 18 years.

“I have served in the Seremban parliamentary for two terms and before that as an assemblyman for Lobak, also for two terms. Hence, I have 18 years of political experience in Seremban,” he said.

Loke retained Seremban with a majority of 30,694 votes in 2018. – Bernama October 18, 2022.
