PKR will finalise its candidates for the 15th general election (GE15) before the Election Commission (EC) announces the date for federal polls, Rafizi Ramli said today.
“PKR election candidates will be finalised no later than October 19,” the PKR deputy president said.
Yesterday, Rafizi had said that the party had confirmed the candidates for GE15, save for a few parliamentary seats.
On selecting the candidates, Rafizi said that voter sentiment over the past two years showed that their decisions were no longer influenced by the party alone.
Based on surveys, he said that the candidate factor accounted for 50% of the voters’ decisions.
