PERIKATAN Nasional (PN) today agreed to campaign for the next election under the coalition’s banner.

PN chairman Muhyiddin Yassin said it was decided in the presidential council meeting, as well as the Bersatu political bureau meeting which took place shortly afterwards.

“Earlier we had a meeting to discuss preparations for the election. We don’t know when it will be held, but this is nothing new.

“We have agreed that everything moves in the name of PN, comprising Bersatu, PAS, Gerakan, Parti Maju Sabah (SAPP) and Parti Solidariti Tanah AirKu (STAR). That’s what we have set,” he said after the meeting.

‘God willing, we will remain steadfast,” he said in response to a query whether PAS would remain in the coalition. – Bernama, October 6, 2022.
