MALAYSIA logged 1,360 new Covid-19 cases and one death yesterday, the CovidNow website showed.

Selangor recorded the highest number of infections at 501, followed by Kuala Lumpur (269) and Sabah (115).

Perak reported 98 cases, Penang (75), Negri Sembilan (68), Sarawak (44), Malacca (39), Johor (28), Kedah (27), Kelantan (27), Pahang (26), Putrajaya (28), Terengganu (12) and Labuan (3).

No cases were reported in Perlis.

The GitHub database showed one fatality reported in Terengganu.

There are currently 977 Covid-19 hospitalisations with 17 people in intensive care units, with 28 on ventilators. – October 3, 2022.
