MALAYSIA reported 1,867 new Covid-19 cases yesterday.

This brings the number of infections to 4,836,427 since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

Selangor reported the most new cases at 470 Kuala Lumpur (451) , Perak (183), Sabah (159), Penang (104), Malacca (82), Negri Sembilan (79), Sarawak (77), Johor (56), Kelantan (55), Kedah (52), Pahang (29), Terengganu (29), Putrajaya (23), Perlis (4)  and Labuan (3)

Four Covid-19 deaths were reported, one of which was logged as dead on arrival.

The death toll now stands at 36,367. 

Forty-three coronavirus patients are in intensive care, 24 of them in need of respiratory support. – September 30, 2022.
