1,552 new Covid cases, 6 deaths

MALAYSIA reported 1,552 new Covid-19 cases yesterday.

Kuala Lumpur reported the most new cases at 387, followed by Selangor (323), Sabah (164), Perak (119), Sarawak (94), Penang (76), Negri Sembilan (68), Kelantan (65), Kedah (64), Johor (55), Malacca (54), Pahang (34), Terengganu (22), Putrajaya (16), Labuan (8), and Perlis (3)

Six Covid-19 deaths were reported, one of which was dead on arrival.

The death toll stood at 36,363. 

Forty-six coronavirus patients were in intensive care, 26 of them in need of respiratory support.

The CovidNow website shows there have been 4,834,560 infections since the start of the pandemic in March 2020. – September 28, 2022.
