MALAYSIA reported 1,924 new Covid-19 cases yesterday, compared to 2,070 cases the day before.
The CovidNow website showed the total number of infections at 4,830,214 since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
Selangor posted the highest number of infections yesterday with 564, followed by Kuala Lumpur (466) and Perak (155).
Sabah logged 153 new cases, Penang (98) Malacca (87), Negri Sembilan (80), Sarawak (76), Kedah (62), Pahang (49), Johor (46), Kelantan (35), Terengganu (23), Putrajaya (22), Perlis (5), and Labuan (4).
Three virus deaths were reported, one of which was dead on arrival.
The death toll stood at 36,348.
Fifty-one coronavirus patients were intensive care, 28 of whom required respiratory support. β September 25, 2022.
