Amanah polls put off to 2024

AMANAH’S party elections that are supposed to be held by end of this year has been postponed to 2024, party secretary-general Mohd Hatta Ramli said.

He said the application to delay the elections was approved by the Registrar of Societies and the party expects to hold the polls by June 2024.

“The move is to allow the party to focus on preparations for the next general election,” he told Bernama when met at the Amanah National Convention 2022 in Seremban today.

Amanah’s first party elections for the term 2019-2022 were held during the Amanah National Convention from December 6-8, 2019 in Shah Alam, Selangor. – Bernama, September 17, 2022.
