POLICE are asking for the public’s help in locating four men believed to be involved in a fight which resulted in the death of a 28-year-old man in Tawau on Tuesday morning.

Tawau district police chief Jasmin Hussin said the suspects have been identified as Mohamad Johari Rahman @ Jojo, whose last known address is at Tanjung Batu Laut; Muhamad Zulkifli Rahman @ Jul (Tanjung Batu Laut); and Mazlee Asan @ Yaszil (Jalan Damai), while a fourth person is yet to be identified.

He said that in the 4am fight, the victim was stabbed in the left side of the chest, lost consciousness and was later confirmed dead.

“As a result of the incident, police arrested four local men, aged 22 to 35, in several locations. Four others are still at large,” he said in a statement today.

Jasmin said people, especially those living in Tanjung Batu Laut and Jalan Damai, who have any information about the whereabouts of the four men should contact ASP Zam Zarina Asri at 016-737 5868. – Bernama, September 15, 2022.
