ALL passenger flights at Shanghai’s two international airports were cancelled today, the airport operator said, as Typhoon Muifa made landfall on China’s densely populated east coast.
The storm hit the city of Zhoushan in Zhejiang province at around 8:30pm (1330 GMT), state news agency Xinhua said, bringing strong winds and threatening flooding along the coast around Shanghai, an area home to Asia’s largest commercial port.
