1,990 new Covid cases, 4 deaths

MALAYSIA yesterday logged 1,990 new coronavirus cases and four deaths from infection.

Selangor reported the highest number of cases at 500, followed by Kuala Lumpur (454), and Sabah (183).

Perak reported 177 cases, Sarawak (89), Johor (88), Negri Sembilan (87), Penang (85), Kedah (82), Malacca (68), Kelantan (66), Pahang (46), Putrajaya (32), Terengganu (18), Perlis (8), and Labuan (7). 

One virus-linked death each was recorded on Negri Sembilan, Perak, Terengganu, and Kuala Lumpur.

There were 1,287 Covid-19 patients in hospitals, 21 of them in intensive care and 46 on ventilators. – September 10, 2022.
