FORMER Prime Minister Najib Razak has been admitted to a hospital and is currently in stable condition, according Astro Awani.

“Najib is in stable condition and is undergoing examination,” Astro Awani quoted an anonymous member of Najib’s office as saying.

However, the nature of his medical problem is unknown.

Last week, the apex court ordered Najib to begin his 12-year jail sentence immediately.

A five-man Federal Court bench chaired by Chief Justice Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat quashed his appeal and upheld his sentence in the SRC International case.

In addition to this, Najib will have to pay a RM210 million fine in default of another five years of imprisonment. – September 4, 2022.
