Nasa readies for Moon rocket launch attempt tomorrow

Nasa hopes to launch its rocket with the Orion capsule tomorrow after technical difficulties led to the last-minute delay of its launch, originally scheduled for last Monday. – EPA pic, September 2, 2022.

THE stars appear to be aligned for Nasa’s Moon rocket to finally blast off tomorrow, with weather forecasts favourable and technical issues that postponed the launch earlier this week resolved.

Lift-off is scheduled for 2.17pm local time (1817 GMT) from Kennedy Space Centre in Florida, with the potential for up to a two-hour delay if necessary.
