THE general election is a clash between two schools of thought on corruption among the Malays, academics and politicians said.

This can be seen in the reaction of the Malay voters to the jailing of former prime minister for stealing and power abuse, they said.

  • I guess this is what Tun Mahathir meant when he organised the congress on "Maruah Melayu". Resetting or reclaiming the Malay Dignity was the intention but instead, the gathering was hijacked by ultras and turned into a bashing against non-Malays.

    Tun always had a plan on how to better the Malay race. Instil the right values and ethos so that they no longer need to depend on Govt help. He is the only Malay leader with a vision for the Malays and that included them living in harmony with the other races. Tun Mahathir knows he has much unfinished work and hence he is persisting even at the tender age of 97. I hope Tun is recovering well from Covid at the IJN.
