King presents appointment letters to 4 new envoys

The new envoys to South Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia and Iran receive their appointment letters from Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah at Istana Negara today. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, July 12, 2022.

YANG di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah today presented letters of appointment to four new Malaysian heads of missions at Istana Negara.

Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah also attended the event.

The newly appointed heads of missions were Malaysian ambassador to South Korea Lim Jay Jin, Malaysian ambassador to Japan Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Malaysian ambassador to Saudi Arabia Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah and Malaysian ambassador to Iran Khairi Omar.

Also present were Deputy Foreign Minister Kamarudin Jaffar and Foreign Ministry secretary-general Amran Mohamed Zin. – Bernama, July 12, 2022.
