SECOND-GENERATION Felda settlers, who are better educated and have access to more information, will pose a threat to Barisan Nasional in the 14th general election, said Jawatankuasa Bertindak Suara Generasi Kedua Felda.
Its adviser, Zulkefli Nordin, said Felda chairman Shahrir Abdul Samad did not have accurate information when he said Felda votes would remain with BN.

Shahrir boast is simplistic BUT he has a valid point that what does PH has to offer to a very difficult question of Felda settler's future - the old model is not enough anymore - in fact, it never really worked because it was basically a subsidy model - Govt or Felda Corp subsidized the settlers for decades. What can PH offer to second generation who do not want to work the land which is insufficient anymore?

One of UMNO's weakness is the lack of quality leaders. Most UMNO Leaders are tainted with scandals and/or corruption plus many are moronic & arrogant. UMNO need new and quality leaders to win with wide margin. AXA appointed a washed out former agency manager from AIA - to lead axa agency force. Every scandal will cost by their votes. Just calculate. Malaysia is and always will be a scandal prone nation under by rule. Let Pakatan takeover. Give them a chance to flush this rotten system. If they fail , they too will be kick out. But let them try first
