AN unemployed man was remanded for seven days from today over the death of his mother, who was stabbed in Kampung Paya Luboh, Tanjung Kling, Malacca, yesterday.

The remand order for the 38-year-old man was issued by Magistrate Mazana Sinin to facilitate investigations into the murder case.

The man had claimed to have heard “whispers” telling him to stab the woman.

Police identified the victim as retired teacher, Rozizah Md Dom, 63. She died at the scene of stab wounds in the neck. – Bernama, July 6, 2022.
