MORE than 1.2 million (33.9%) children aged 5 to 11 are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children as of yesterday.

A total of 1.7 million (48.9%) of the age group have received at least one dose of the vaccine, according to the CovidNow site.

For adolescents aged 12 to 17, 2.9 million (93.7%) are fully vaccinated and three million (96.8%) have received at least one vaccine dose.

For adults, 16.1 million (68.5%) have received their booster, 22.9 million (97.7%) have completed two vaccine doses and 23.2 million (98.9%) have received at least one vaccine dose.

A total of 1,904 Covid-19 vaccine doses were dispensed yesterday, of which 176 are first doses, 1,287 are second doses and 441 are boosters, bringing the total number of vaccines dispensed to 70.9 million under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme. – Bernama, June 7, 2022.
