A MARRIED couple were killed when the motorcycle on which they were riding was involved in an accident on Jalan Banting-Dengkil early yesterday morning.

Kuala Langat police chief Ahmad Ridhwan Mohd Nor @ Saleh in a statement said initial investigation found that the crash occurred at about 6am, when the rider of the motorcycle lost control of the vehicle, which skidded to the left side of the road and crashed into a warning sign.

“The 21-year-old motorcyclist and 16-year-old pillion rider were confirmed dead at the scene. Their bodies have been taken for autopsy to Banting Hospital.

“The case is investigated under section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.”
