A WOMAN and two men were arrested for allegedly stealing car components from a workshop at an industrial park in Ampang, Selangor, yesterday.

Ampang Jaya police chief Mohamad Farouk Eshak said police seized a tyre, a sports rim, three mobile phones, as well as a Proton Wira Aeroback and Proton Wira.

He said the workshop workers lodged a complaint that all the tyres and rims from a customer’s Honda Accord were missing when they opened up shop on May 24.

“The suspects, aged 23 to 33, have criminal- and drug-related records. All have been remanded for four days until June 7.

“The case is being investigated under section 379A (1) of the penal code.” – Bernama, June 4, 2022.
