Rafizi leads Saifuddin in fight for PKR deputy president

RAFIZI Ramli is leading PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution Ismail for the post of deputy president in the party’s 2022 elections, after the voting results in all states were released today.

The unofficial results updated on the opposition party’s website showed Rafizi, who was previously a vice president, had obtained 68,451 votes compared to Saifuddin’s 48,223 votes.

In the fight for president of the youth wing, Adam Adli Abd Halim leads Fahmi Zainol by 13,749 votes to 11,674.

Meanwhile, for the Wanita chief, Batu Tiga assemblyman Rodziah Ismail (21,690 votes) leads challenger Senator Fadhlina Sidek (21,201).

The PKR 2022 elections ended two days ago after 12 divisions in Kelantan, Terengganu, Kedah, Selangor and Sabah had to ballot for a second time.

The announcement of the official results will be made at the party congress on June 25 and 26. – Bernama, May 30, 2022.
