BURSA Malaysia Securities Bhd (Bursa Securities) has issued an unusual market activity (UMA) query to Country Heights Holdings Bhd following the sharp fall in price and rise in volume of its shares recently.

“Investors are advised to take note of the company’s reply to the above UMA query which will be posted at Bursa Malaysia’s website under the company announcements (section) when making their investment decision,” the exchange said in a statement today.

It said Country Heights was asked to disclose any corporate development, rumour or report concerning the company’s business and affairs as well as any other possible explanation to account for the trading activity.

It also asked whether the company is in compliance with the Bursa Securities Listing Requirements, in particular, Paragraph 9.03 of the requirements, on immediate disclosure obligations.

At 4pm, Country Heights’ shares fell 35.5 sen to 83.5 sen with 21.18 million shares transacted. – Bernama, May 18, 2022.
