Duo nabbed over pawnshop robbery in Pasir Mas


POLICE arrested a man and a woman, both locals and in their 30s, over a pawnshop robbery last Thursday in Pasir Mas, involving losses of RM1 million in cash and jewellery.

Acting Kelantan police chief Muhammad Zaki Harun said the two suspects, arrested on May 6, are now in remand until this Thursday.

He urged witnesses or those with information on the robbery to contact the police.

He was speaking to reporters after witnessing the handing over of duties from acting Tumpat district police chief chief Tan Seng Lee to new chief Amran Dolah. – Bernama, May 9, 2022.
