A TOTAL of 895,000 or at least 25% of children ages five to 11 have been fully vaccinated as part of the national Covid-19 immunisation for children programme as of yesterday.
According to the CovidNow website, 1.54 million children or 43.4% of the group have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
For teenagers ages 12-17, 2.89 million or 93.1% have completed their vaccination, while 2.99 million or 96.2% have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
Meanwhile, 16 million adults (68.2%) have received the booster dose, while 23 million (97.6%) have completed the second dose, and 23.2 million (98.8%) have received at least one dose.
A total of 19,105 vaccine doses were administered yesterday, 4,382 as the first dose, 13,214 the second dose and 1,509 as the booster dose, bringing the cumulative total to 70.4 million. β Bernama, May 7, 2022.
