Health DG says dengue, HFMD cases on the rise

THE number of dengue cases in the country are reported to have risen from 967 cases in the epidemiological week (EW) 16/2022 to 1,021 cases in EW 17/2022, Health Director-General Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said. 

He said the increase of 54 cases (5.6%) was recorded between April 24 to 30 (EW 17/2022), bringing the total dengue cases so far to 12,942 cases, compared to 9,270 cases in the same period in 2021.
