A STALLED trailer that ran out of fuel and broke down on the left lane at KM231.9 of the North-South Expressway caused a 20km-long traffic jam today.

PLUS Malaysia Bhd (PLUS) said in a statement that the trailer was moved to an emergency vehicle parking area around 2.30pm.

“Northbound motorists are instructed to exit the highway via the Kuala Kangsar toll plaza before re-entering the highway via the Changkat Jering plaza toll,” the statement said.

The statement also said that the PLUS highway operations team was also on location and that the authorities assisted in managing the incident. – Bernama, March 26, 2022.
