Dr Mahathir's US plan shows he's a hypocrite, says Hishammuddin

THE reported plan by Dr Mahathir Mohamad to head a delegation to the US, seeking support for the opposition’s attempts to topple Prime Minister Najib Razak’s administration, shows the former Umno leader’s hypocrisy, said Hishammuddin Hussein.

The Umno vice-president said when Dr Mahathir was prime minister from 1981 to 2003, he had spoken out against opposition parties planning such things.

“However, it is different now. The people can see his hypocrisy. He does not walk the talk,” said Hishammuddin after launching the Sembrong Housing Development Agenda at Sg 10 Felcra in Paloh, near Kluang, today.

The defence minister’s comments followed claims made by former DAP vice-chairman Tunku Abdul Aziz Tunku Ibrahim that Bersatu chairman Dr Mahathir planned to make the visit on February 20.

It was reported that Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin would be part of the delegation. – Bernama, February 10, 2018.

  • ALL UMNO/BN ARE HYPOCRITE. It's actually even requirement. Mahathir made them.that way. So the original hypocrite can do what he wants against those he made.
