MALAYSIA yesterday recorded 10 Covid-19 deaths with one person pronounced dead on arrival, according to Ministry of Health statistics.

The Covid-19 death toll has reached 31,902.

The daily death figure is the sum total of the number of reported fatalities on the day, plus cases just confirmed by the health authorities to be due to Covid-19.

New virus deaths were reported in Selangor (3), Sabah (2), Pahang (1), Malacca (1), Kelantan (1), Kedah (1) and Johor (1).

The local Covid-19 mortality rate was at 0.5%, while the national average for deaths by infection was five per 1 million people. – January 25, 2022.
