POLICE raided a #TangkapAzamBaki ceramah last night and arrested several participants, its organisers said.

The gathering was held ahead of a planned rally in Bangsar at 11am today.

“The police are asking for our MyKad and taking down our details. So we are all standing around here and are not allowed to leave,” Muda vice-president Dr Thanussha Francis Xavier tweeted late yesterday.

Police have yet to confirm the the raid and the number of people who were arrested at the event at Restoran Amjal in Pantai Dalam.

Sources said more than 10 Muda leaders and activists are expected to attend today’s rally at the Bangsar LRT station.
