Malaysia logs 2,757 new Covid-19 cases

Malaysia has reported fewer than 1,000 coronavirus hospitalisations for 16 days since December 10, when 1,057 patients were admitted to hospital. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, December 27, 2021.

MALAYSIA recorded 2,757 new Covid-19 cases as of noon today, said Health Director-General Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

This is the second straight day that daily coronavirus cases are within the 2,000 range.

The fresh infections today bring the total number of reported infections to 2.74 million.

The case breakdowns according to states will be uploaded on to the CovidNow website at midnight.
