4,298 new Covid-19 cases

MALAYSIA has reported 4,298 new Covid-19 infections as of noon, taking the cumulative cases to 2,658,772, director-general of health Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said today.

The number of cases today is the lowest in the past six days, with the country reporting 4,087 infections on November 29.

The breakdown of cases by state will be uploaded into the ministry’s CovidNow website after midnight.

The ministry said 22.7 million, or 97% of adults, have completed vaccination while 23 million, or 98.4%, received at least one jab.

Meanwhile, more than 2.7 million, or 86.4%, of adolescents aged 12 to 17, are now fully vaccinated against Covid-19. – December 5, 2021.
