THE Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a yellow alert weather warning in Kelantan and Terengganu, after predicting continuous rain in the states starting tomorrow.

MetMalaysia in a statement today said the rainfall will last for two days and affect Bachok, Jeli, Kuala Krai, Kota Baru, Machang, Pasir Mas, Pasir Puteh, Tanah Merah and Tumpat in Kelantan and the whole of Terengganu.

North-eastern wind is expected to bring continuous rain and strong winds that can cause floods in low-lying areas, it added. – Bernama, December 1, 2021.
