MALAYSIA reported 4,879 new Covid-19 cases as of noon today, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said. 

The number is an increase from yesterday’s 4,087.

This brings the total number of infections in the country to 2.63 million. 

The case breakdown by state will be uploaded onto the CovidNow portal after midnight.

Noor Hisham said the infectivity rate is currently at 0.95. 

As of yesterday, 96.8% of the adult population have been vaccinated while 98.3% have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

For adolescents, 85.9% have been fully inoculated while 89.6% have received at least one shot. – November 30, 2021.
