MALACCA voters should choose Pakatan Harapan (PH) if they want a stable government, said Anthony Loke.

The DAP national organising secretary said this is because Bersatu, Umno and PAS cannot coexist in the same government as they all want to be the lead party.

“Although they claim to want to establish a Malay-Muslim government when they took over last year, they have not stopped fighting,” he said during a talk show on DAP’s Facebook page tonight.

Loke said since taking over, the three parties have not stopped bickering among themselves and “cannot even agree on seats”.

“On the other hand, PH is a stable coalition consisting of Amanah, DAP, PKR and newcomer Upko, and will make a more stable government,” he told moderator Young Syefura Othman.

The Seremban MP dismissed claims that PH is running a defensive campaign in Malacca.

“It may look defensive, but our goal is to win the 15 seats we won in the 2018 polls.

“Defending or winning these seats will give PH the government. As such, I do not see it as defensive.”

PH won four of the six parliamentary seats and 15 of 28 state seats in Malacca in the previous polls. In the 2013 polls, the coalition won only two federal seats and seven state seats.
