A TOTAL of 2.5 million adolescents ages between 12 and 17 (79.6% of the population) have completed their Covid-19 vaccination, as of yesterday.
Based on the Health Ministry’s CovidNow portal, 2.73 million adolescents (86.9%) have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
Meanwhile, 22.3 million adults (95.2%) have completed their vaccination, and 22.9 million (97.6%) have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
A total of 55,703 doses of the vaccine were administered yesterday, involving 14,875 second doses, 3,203 first doses and 37,625 booster doses, the total number of doses administered under the national Covid-19 immunisation programme to 51.1 million.
A total of 938,437 booster doses had been administered as of yesterday. – Bernama, November 14, 2021.
