MALAYSIA logged 5,403 Covid-19 cases as of noon today, bringing the cumulative number of cases to 2,516,255.
The country has been reporting fewer than 8,000 infections daily for the past 25 consecutive days.
The breakdown according to states will be uploaded onto the CovidNow portal after midnight.
The seven-day R-naught average is currently at 0.94, with the hospitalisation rate at a 7% decline and 66% of beds utilised.
Meanwhile, a total of 22,214,024 individuals or 94.9 per cent of the adult population have completed their Covid-19 vaccination as of yesterday.
Based on the Ministry of Health’s data on the CovidNow portal, 97.5% of the adult population, or 22,819,122 individuals, have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
A total of 108,821 doses of the vaccine were administered yesterday, with 44,084 having completed two doses, 6,342 first-dose recipients and 58,395 booster doses.
This brings the total number of doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme that was launched on February 24 to 50,527,937. – November 9, 2021.
