BRITAIN today said it would add China’s Sinovac and Sinopharm Covid vaccines, as well as India’s Covaxin to the country’s approved vaccine list for inbound travellers, Channel News Asia reports.

All three are on the World Health Organization’s emergency use listing, and the approval will come into effect on November 22, the portal reported.

Fully vaccinated travellers from countries such as United Arab Emirates, Malaysia and India stand to benefit from the latest nod.

The portal further reported that travel rules are being simplified, with all those under 18 to be treated as fully inoculated at the border and be able to enter the country without having to quarantine on arrival, its Department for Transport said yesterday. – November 9, 2021.
