FIVE more states will enter Phase 4 of the National Recovery Plan on Monday, said Defence Minister Hishammuddin Hussein.

Hishammuddin in a statement today said the states are Perlis, Perak, Penang, Kedah and Sabah. This leaves only Kelantan and Sarawak in Phase 3.

Crew of ships managed by the Port Klang Authority will be allowed to get their Covid-19 jabs during stopovers in Port Klang, he added.

“However, this will be subject to approval by the Health Ministry, Immigration Department and Maritime Department,” he said, adding that the vaccination will be done on the ships to avoid unnecessary movement.

“The Port Klang Authority has been advised to furnish further details about the number of crew involved in the vaccination drive.”

Hishammuddin said fully vaccinated individuals, including children, will be allowed into stadiums and sports facilities effective Monday.

However, he added, “children under the age of 18 who are not fully vaccinated are still not allowed into stadiums”.

He said eating and drinking in stadiums are still prohibited. – November 5, 2021.
