75% of population vaccinated

AT LEAST 24.5 million people, or 75% of the population, have completed their Covid-19 vaccination as of midnight yesterday.

According to the CovidNow website, 108,031 shots were administered yesterday, with 9,216 people receiving their first dose and 55,354 receiving their second dose.

The Health Ministry also stated that 43,461 booster shots were administered yesterday, bringing the total to 351,114 jabs.

To date, 2.13 million adolescents, ages 12 to 17, have been fully vaccinated.

The CovidNow website tracker projects that 80% of adolescents will be fully vaccinated by December 4.

Meanwhile, 22.4 million adults, or 95.6% of the population, have been fully vaccinated.

The tracker projected that the adult population will be fully vaccinated by January 22 next year. – November 2, 2021.
