MALAYSIA logged 6,060 new Covid-19 infections as of noon today, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said.
The country has been reporting fewer than 8,000 cases for 14 consecutive days.
To date, the country has recorded slightly more than 2.46 million Covid infections.
The breakdown of cases according to states will be updated on the CovidNow website after midnight.
Meanwhile, the country’s infection rate has stayed at 0.94 for the past seven days.
The latest statistics as of Wednesday showed that the country has fully inoculated 74% of its population following the dispensing of 147,242 vaccine doses.
The Special Committee for Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply said 25.4 million people, or 77.9%, have received at least one dose of the vaccine. – October 29, 2021.
