MALAYSIA logged 6,377 new Covid-19 infections as of noon today, a slight increase from yesterday’s 6,148, Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said.
The country has been reporting fewer than 8,000 cases for 13 consecutive days.
The breakdown of cases according to states will be updated on the CovidNow website after midnight.
Meanwhile, the country’s infection rate has stayed at 0.94 for the past seven days.
The country has fully inoculated 74% of its population following the dispensing of 147,242 vaccine doses yesterday.
The Special Committee for Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply said 25.4 million people, or 77.9%, have received at least one dose of the vaccine. – October 28, 2021.
