MALAYSIA logged 5,666 new Covid-19 infections as of noon today, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said.
The cumulative number of Covid-19 cases stands at more than 2.43 million.
The country has been reporting fewer than 8,000 cases for 10 consecutive days.
The breakdown of cases according to states will be updated on the CovidNow website after midnight.
Meanwhile, the country’s infection rate has stayed at 0.87 for the past seven days.
The country has fully inoculated 72.4% of its population following the dispensing of 157,999 vaccine doses yesterday.
The Special Committee for Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply said 25.3 million people, or 77.6%, have received at least one dose of the vaccine. – October 24, 2021.
