72.4% of population fully dosed against Covid-19

MALAYSIA has fully inoculated 72.4% of its population following the administration of 113,547 vaccine doses yesterday.

The Special Committee for Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply said 25.3 million people, or 77.6%, have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

As of yesterday, 80.9% of children aged 12-17 have received one shot while 48.7% are fully vaccinated.

The CovidNow website tracker projects that 80% of the population will be fully vaccinated by December 16.

Data showed 94.5% of the adult population have been fully dosed.

More than 48.94 million jabs have been dispensed under the national vaccination campaign. – October 24, 2021.
